How to commission

Although my artwork and commission services are mainly inspired by Final Fantasy XIV, I’m always open to custom orders and Carrd design requests!

  1. View Portfolio: Art Styles and read the Bulleted Notes and Pricing Diagram under Pricing & Canvas Sizing

  2. Decide which Art Style, Canvas Size and Order Type (e.g. full body, background options, etc.) you'd like to commission

  3. Read the bulleted notes under "Process" →

  4. View Forms and Please Carefully Read and Sign the Terms of Service Form and fill out the Commission Form

  5. Once you've completed steps 1-4, please add me on Discord (personaflex) for further communication or email me

  • Discord (personaflex) for consultations & artwork progress updates

  • Artwork Completion: 4–7 days per character, but may vary depending on type of order & queue
    ETA will be provided during the consultation

  • Payment: 50% non refundable deposit to secure a spot on the waiting list
    Full payment required before artwork begins

  • Refunds: Once work on the artwork has begun, no refunds will be issued

  • Special Requests / Artwork outside FFXIV: DM Me on Discord for a Consultation

  • Upgrade to NSFW for +50% of order total. Excludes lalafell and hrothgar
    Must be 18+ years old. No exceptions

Revisions

• • For a smooth revision process, please take the time to carefully review the artwork and provide all requested changes at once. This ensures everything is addressed in one go (e.g., referencing specific areas or providing visual examples if possible), allowing me to better meet your expectations.
• • Intricate Details: Additional charges may apply for complex designs (e.g., heavy scaling, furries, complex glam) based on the overall intricacy of the artwork.
• • Please note that additional revisions will incur a fee of $5-25 (10-50 million Gil), depending on the complexity of the changes.

Characters:

Sketch:

  • (1 revision) After we discuss your commission details and I begin the initial sketch, I'll send it to you for approval. At this stage, you can provide feedback or request changes to the composition, pose, expression, etc. I'll make the necessary revisions accordingly

Lining & Base Colors:

  • (1 revision) Once the sketch is approved, I'll move on to adding the linework and base colors. I'll send you an update once this step is complete so you can review the artwork. Feel free to request changes to the colors. Please note that these are just the base colors and the final result will look slightly different once shading is added.

Shading & Details:

  • (1 revision) Once the base colors are approved, I'll proceed with adding shading and finer details. I'll send you an update when this step is complete so you can review the artwork. Feel free to request changes to the colors if they don’t match your expectations.

Finishing Touches:

  • Once the shading is approved, I'll proceed with adding any necessary finishing touches.

Semi-Detailed / Full-Detailed Background:

The process is the same as for Character revisions.

Sketch:

  • (1 revision) After we discuss your commission details and I begin the initial sketch, I'll send it to you for approval. At this stage, you can provide feedback or request changes to elements like the background, buildings, greenery, etc. I'll make necessary revisions accordingly. (If the background has a more nature-focused theme, I may proceed directly to Shading & Details, but you'll still have the chance to request revisions)

  • (1 revision) Once the sketch is approved, I'll move on to adding the linework and base colors. I'll send you an update once this step is complete so you can review the artwork. Feel free to request changes to the colors. Please note that these are just the base colors and the final result will look slightly different once shading is added.

Shading & Details:

Simple Background:

  • A complimentary "simple background" is included at no extra charge. I'll create a couple versions for you to choose from, and any additional versions can be purchased for $5 (10 million gil).

  • You may request for a solid color background instead.

  • If you'd like to upgrade to a semi-detailed or full-detailed background, the base price ranges from $40-120 (80-240 million gil), depending on the order type. Please note that the complexity of the scenery (e.g., intricate buildings or detailed landscapes) may incur extra charges.

  • To ensure proper planning, please request any upgrades to the background type at the beginning of the commission so I can adjust my schedule accordingly.

  • Any requests to upgrade the background type during the artwork process may incur additional charges, if there are other clients waiting in the queue.
